Little Funfest – April 2014

NEWSFLASH! The next Little Funfest is less than TWO weeks away!!!

Yes that’s right! Less than two weeks!

It’s crept up proper quick.

The little’uns love Red House Farm (which is in Dunham Massey, Altrincham) and the Little Funfest events and are really excited!

I might be a bit too!

This time not only do they get to see their CBeebies fave, Alex Winters again, but Dr Ranj & Cat Sandion from CBeebies are also appearing too!! And of course the hilarious Jem Frazer, who the kids love! If you came last year you’d have seen his Mr Topper and Hagrid characters!

And aside from the brilliant Big Top entertainment, once you’ve paid your ticket price all the activities are FREE! Yep, everything is free, the rides, bouncy castles, etc. Everything excluding the market stalls and food, but that’s fair enough, right?

The funfair, is going to be even bigger this time and your littlies can ride as many rides, as many times as they like!

There’s a fab inflatable slide, bouncy castles, the tractor barrel ride, go karts (which Lil Man is incredibly chuffed about) and even a special soft play area for the under 4’s.

And if you have older kids then don’t worry either, there were plenty of older children and teenagers who attended last year and had just as much fun as their younger brothers and sisters. And their parents!!

There’s also lots more performers including Starkidz who will be fetching lots of princess and pirate characters (last year they fetched Spiderman and Hello Kitty. The kids are desperately hoping they’ll get to have photos taken with them both again!) Dene Michaels, of Agadoo fame (make sure you come join in with pushing those pineapples), that Poetry Bloke, Phil Fletcher (the voice of Hacker the Dog from CBBC), Mr Yipadee (whose songs the kids loved prancing around to in the big top to last year) and the Harry Potter characters who will once again be running their fabulous wizard school.

So if you’re looking for a great day out during the Easter school holidays, a children’s festival that has pretty much everything that kids love to do and is great value, and something that you’ll enjoy too, then get your tickets quick!
Check out the Little Funfest website for more info and to buy your tickets, go like the Little Funfest Facebook page and follow them on Twitter too so you can make sure you’re kept up to date with what’s happening.

And if you can’t make this one, I’m really sorry. But go subscribe to the website’s newsletter as you’ll get to know first when the next event is announced!

Disclosure: As a Little Funfest Blogger I’ll receive a family ticket so we can go check it out and make sure it lives up to our very high expectations following on last year’s event! And I’m very confident it will!!
